Welcome to the Edge.
  
It has been twenty four years since the United States was devastated by Nuclear War. Out of the nuclear winter, survivors have colonized. The West Coast has now been dubbed the Edge, referring to the mountains to the east and the ocean to the west. All of the pre-apocalyptic technologies that used to be at our leisure have stopped working. Those who travel through the wasteland in search of a better place have met terrible fates.
The dangers of the wasteland have kept many in their colonies, fearful of the tribal like scavengers and raiders, who worship old technology. It is said that some scavengers have the power to manipulate energy, bending it to their will and reanimating old technology. The documentation of this has not been proven.
There is new hope on the horizon. A lone rider has appeared on dead highways, littered with old automobiles. Is this the return of technology? May they finally reach the East Coast, known to them as the Point? You’ll find that out and much more here in the Edge.
